萧峰是加州波莫纳学院（Pomona College）亚洲语言文学系副教授及该学院Oldenborg 中心学院研究员(faculty fellow)。他在卡内基梅隆大学（Carnegie Mellon University）获得博士学位，研究兴趣包括语用学、二语习得、AI辅助教学。他特别关注“语用能力”, 因为语用能力至今仍是生成式 AI 最难掌握的一环。近十年发表学术论文二十余篇，获得多项研究基金和教学奖项，比如《Language Learning》杂志博士论文奖，赫施家族研究启动基金等。他也为近20多种应用语言学及心理语言学期刊做评审。
除了学术研究外，他也积极投身创新。他是Luduan.ai和 Bruhh.ai 的联合创始人并为硅谷AI科技公司做专家咨询。此外，他还参与中文古籍的鉴定研究，为文物真伪辨识与中国艺术历史的学术理解提供专业支持。比如，他参与编写的《克莱蒙特大学联盟中文古籍目录》即将由中华书局出版。

获得应用数学与计算机科学学士、硕士，并取得 MBA 学位。曾在多家大型跨国企业担任要职，积累了丰富的 IT 管理、项目管理、产品与团队管理，以及市场与技术研发经验，并具备短期创业经历。自2013年起，加入希林西北中文学校，先后担任理事、联合理事长和校委成员，并于2021年起出任校长。长期致力于推动华人社区建设，积极培养青少年人才，优化组织运营，促进文化传承与发展。

Earned bachelor and master's in applied mathematics and computer science, as well as an MBA degree. Previously held key roles in several major multinational companies, gaining extensive experience in IT management, project management, product management, and market and technology development, along with short-term entrepreneurial experience. Since 2013, has served at Xilin Northwest Chinese School as Board Member, Co-Chair of the Board, and Executive Committee member, and has been the principal since 2021. Dedicated to strengthening the Chinese community, fostering youth development, improving organizational operations, and promoting cultural inheritance and growth.
